Is it too late for this discussion?

Okay, yesterday my school had this assembly. You know, for 9/11? Yeah, this motivational speaker came to my school. He was hilarious, like he did all these awesome voices, kinda like Robin Williams. And he's apparently very professional. Well, as funny as he was, he hit some very serious topics. Mostly, about bullying, and violence, and being disrespectful. He said things like just because we are in a nice area doesn't mean there isn't bad stuff going on. He told us true stories about kids who were so picked on and tortured by bullies at school they ended up doing awful things. It was all very sad. And usually after assemblies everyone is always like to their friends "Omigawsh, that assembly was SO boring and stupid" but this one actually hit home for people. How mean to each other we really are at school, and how its not OK. A lot of people were affected by it. Several were crying (call me heartless, but I'm glad I wasn't one of them). I hope the people at my school who actually do bad things LISTENED to that. But the sad thing is, the people who really need to here these things are the ones that don't listen to them.

Yesterday and today, I was feeling kinda depressed about what he said. I'm glad he said it, and it was all true I know, but it really is the truth that hurts the most sometimes. So yeah, I was really sad about what he said, but it's also kind of a relief that he said it. Maybe all the other knuckleheads in middle school will realize how bad things are getting with respecting each other and all that. I'm glad he said it for all to here and understand.

So, hope you all can get something out of this. One last thing he said that is so true is this: "Sticks and stones break my bones, but words can break my heart." Remember people, watch what you say to one another. Words can hurt if we're not careful.

Its been a while.

Hi people. Sorry, yeah, I know, its been a while. Sorry. Let's see what's new... oh, two Saturdays ago I went to the Scottish Games in Pleasanton with my family. It was so much fun! To all of you non-Andersons they might sound weird, but they are SERIOUSLY fun. I had so much junk food there... like that funnel cake I had...wow. And at our clan tent thingy (go Clan Rose!) there was this guy we are apparently very very distantly related to, and he was super funny! He was totally like one of those ultimate nerdy people who aren't afraid to me and it was HILARIOUS! So that was great.

Also the night before we went there me and my cousins and lil' brother made this "Anderson Idol" video for YouTube which my cuz Sahara might actually put on. I was the one singing. They told me I did great and all, but I'm really not sure if I want my singing to go on YouTube. I mean dude, that would be kinda...embarrassing? Weird? Yeah so I dunno what I think about all this. I'll tell you guys if it actually gets on YouTube.

Oh, last Wednesday I started a jazz class at Dance Connection. AMAZINGLY fun. It was just me and Maddiemoo and two other girls, but our teacher was really nice and I actually DID dance kinda good. Except (and this was SO frustrating) okay I could TOTALLY do a pirouette (a full turn) at the beginning of class, but by the end of class I TOTALLY couldn't!!!! It was so embarrassing. And I was gonna practice pirouetting this week (along with practicing voice and cello...haven't done any of that in a while though) but I didn't and the next class is tomorrow. Dude, I hope some magical power has come into me this week so I can actually do a pirouette without falling over. Hopefully.

OH OH OH auditions in orchestra at school are this week. I'm scared. I really hope the sixth grade cellos this year aren't that great cause I honestly (like I said earlier) haven't practiced my cello much. Even though my lessons have started up again. Yeah, in case you can't tell, I'm a TINY bit *cough cough* irresponsible when it comes to practicing...well...anything at home. So I hope the same magical power that will help me pirouette in jazz will come upon me when I audition. One can hope.

OH OH OH OH and I had another voice lesson on Friday. It was AWESOME I think I am totally getting better!!!! It is so much fun singing in this new way. I don't sound good yet, but I'm STILL like so excited about my lessons! Oh that reminds me, I need to practice for my next lesson on Friday. Haven't done it yet. Beginning to see a pattern? I am. Like, really.

And then on Saturday (sorry this is a long blog) our church youth group thingy went on an AMAZING beach trip that was so awesome! We went to Sunset Beach, which is south of Santa Cruz, I think. I jumped in the waves a lot (and got knocked over by several of them) and we had a barbecue dinner and we watched a beautiful sunset and it was basically all that a beach trip should be. Although I was SUPER tired on the 2 hour drive on the way home. And I was kinda in a bad mood then, but the rest of the trip was super super fun.

Today in PE we did volleyball. And I was on a team with a lot of.....well....interesting people. At first I was like "Oh great, this will be so fun (not)" but it was actually really entertaining watching all these obnoxious boys all get so worked up about volleyball! It was probly the most exciting class of the day. And for PE, that's big.

Okay, one final thing. I need to raise, like, a LOT of money for this Atlanta trip I'm going on, and I need ideas for raising money. So, any suggestions would be appreciated greatly!

Alright, love ya all!!!!! <3

School Started. Omigawsh. (copyright)

Ok, well APPARENTLY I copied the title from my cousin. So I had to put the copyright thingy.

School started. Wow!!!!!! Okay in the last few days I've had things to post, but I didn't and right now I don't have anything. So...here's my schedule:

1st period: Garner, science

2nd: Iglesias, Spanish

3rd: Wetterholm, Orchestra

4th: Flores, PE

5th: Moser, math

6th: Victor, English

7th: Victor, English

So yeah. It's pretty exciting. But I miss all of my old classes. You know what's weird? Last year I didn't have too many friends in my classes, but they were still fun and had (pretty much) good kids in them. For the most part. But THIS year I have a ton more friends in my classes but besides that my classes are BAD. So, it's like, either I have a lot friends in bad classes or just a couple friends in good classes. What the heck!

I'm listening to David Archuleta's new song right now. Just so you know I'm not like a HUGE David Archuleta fan, but this song is so cute! I have it on CD (and on YouTube of course!) but I also really want it on my ipod, so that when I want to listen to an awesome-cute-sweet love song that's not about breaking up and hating ex-boyfriends I can listen to this one!

Well, I went out to dinner tonight, with some of my extended family. It was so much fun! My cuz Laralu and I sat across from each other and just LAUGHED the whole time! It was so much awesome stupidness! Our cuz Katy was there too, jsut laughing with us at our stupid arguments and our ridiculous efforts to diss each other. About half way through she's like "Wow, I wish I had a video camera on you guys!" Yeah we're that hilarious. Then we thought that yeah, that would be great because us two and Annadee keep making randomosity videos for YouTube and it would've been perfect! But oh well. It was so much fun!

Luv y'all!!!!!!!!!1

Should I read Twilight?

Hi all! Yeah I know I just posted. But this is important. In a couple years, when I'm like 15, should I read Twilight? I welcome any and all opinions on this matter. So comment and tell me if I should!

Beijing Olympics

O my goodness did any of you watch the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremonies? They were INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! I am not kidding they were so cool!!!!! the countdown until the ceremonies was so awesome!!!! And when the Olympic rings were lifted up off the floor...wow!
One of the best parts was we were all watching the part where there were all the boxes being raised up in patterns and some people were like 'there are people in them! You can see their feet when they raise up!' and others were like 'no no no its all way too precise!' and then when it was done all the people popped out of them and we were all like 'There WERE people under there! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!' It was SO funny!
Another one of the highlights was we were all just waiting waiting waiting for Team USA come out of the tunnel and after what felt like HOURS they came out and we all just CHEERED and CHEERED and CHEERED for the USA!!!!!!!!!!!! It rocked!!!!!!!!
So here I am, only half paying attention to what I'm writing here because the other half of me is focused on the Olympics. One of the women's beach volleyball teams just conquered the Dutch team in a match! That sport is really fun to watch, but the 'uniforms' (aka bikinis) they wear are...really really gross. Anyways...
Ta ta for now!

My brother's grad party is so exclusive.

My brother is having a grad party and all his friends are outside and Mom is SO intent on making sure we don't get anywhere near them its SO annoying. So we just have to sit around inside watching them ALL have fun and its not like I WANT to hang out with seniors but its annoying that we can't even eat with them for Pete's sake! At least we can watch the opening ceremonies for the Olympics with them but we have to watch ALL the way from the kitchen! I mean COME ON! We're not even allowed to go near them when we're all just WATCHING TV? And plus I was even nice enough to make delicious homemade brownies for the party (oh, fine, I used a Hershey's mix) and Mom told me I could only have a tiny piece! Grrrr. Life's not fair.
So. Let's see...well I've been practicing the singing techniques I've learned from my lesson every day. It's HARD! I just can't get the whole diaphragm thing just right! I can't wait till my next lesson on Monday so I can get it right.
Oh, and last Tuesday at mutual (for all you non-Mormons reading this, its when the youth of our church get together every week) we were all playing Steal the Bacon (yeah, I know) and me and this other guy (Lemon, for those of you who know him; for those who don't don't worry about it) crashed into each other, my face into his chest. The maddening thing is I was up immediately and saying 'Are you okay? Are you okay?' to HIM, when I guarentee I was probably more hurt! And then he just laid there on the ground moaning and I was thinking, What a WIMP!!!!!!! But WHATEVER.
So, now we're all watching the Olympics opening ceremony and its INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! Oh my goodness its like HOW is it possible to do all that!
So, I'm going to stop blogging to watch the ceremonies some more.
Hey, this wasn't bad for a third post!
